The Sunco Blow-Thru Valve
has been specifically designed to meet the rugged demands of the pneumatic
conveying industry. It is a natural extension of the Rotary Valve
in that both are used to regulate the flow of dry powders, dusts and granular
products, while maintaining an airlock condition.
However, the Blow-Thru Valve offers distinct
advantages in that it introduces high pressure conveying air through the
valve body and rotor pocket, ensuring a high efficiency throughput with
a low effective pressure drop.
To achieve this, our design ensures that
more blades are in contact with the valve body for longer periods, which
results in less air leakage. In addition, by blowing through the
rotor, each rotor pocket is efficiently emptied.
